Come to the doorstep of The Eagle Cap Wilderness and Wallowa Lake

We offer a variety of accommodations from single rooms up to roomy two-bedroom cabins many and choices in between.  Most of our Cabins and Condominiums feature fully-equipped kitchens and gas fireplaces or stoves. The Chalet rooms include daily maid service - great for those who desire a totally care-free vacation. Our conference facilities are a huge favorite with wedding parties and family reunions, and we have the rooms to handle large groups!

We are centrally located for easy access to all the activities at Wallowa Lake. Wilderness trailhead and Wallowa Lake are only a short walk from our property. We also have a seasonal outdoor heated pool, a spa, miniature golf, a snack shack, an espresso bar and wi-fi.

Nestled in the majestic Wallowa Mountains, Wallowa Lake is a breathtakingly beautiful glacial lake. At its foot is the small town of Joseph, home of several fine arts bronze foundries and galleries. At the head of the lake is the little community of Wallowa Lake where Eagle Cap Chalets is located. We have activities for everyone: fishing, boating, golfing, horseback riding, hiking, swimming, go carts, bicycling, shopping, museums, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, touring and photography. Or you can just curl up in your cabin with a book by the fire and get away from it all!

Summers and holidays fill up fast, so call early! For vacations and group events, have alternate dates if possible.

We are located by the Wallowa Lake Tramway which offers an 8,256-foot gondola ride to the top of Mt. Howard where spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys await.
